Dr. Carl F. Blackman (left) happily receives the d'Arsonval Award from the BEMS Awards Chair Dr. Alexandre Legros (right) at BioEM2014, held in Cape Town, South Africa this year. Carl recently retired from the U.S. EPA, is a Charter member, and served as President of BEMS from 1990-1991.
